AmeriCorps Kansas Smiling AmeriCorps Members

AmeriCorps Kansas empowers local communities to mobilize individuals and community resources to meet their most challenging needs. We partner with nonprofit, government, and faith-based sectors to increase the effective utilization of AmeriCorps members and community resources.

The Kansas Volunteer Commission (Commission) funds and directly manages AmeriCorps State programs in various locations throughout the state that focus on education, public health, youth mentoring, the environment, and responding to other direct community needs. Communities and organizations wishing to start an AmeriCorps program should contact the Commission or visit the grants section of the website for more information.
