The Kansas Volunteer Commission and Washburn University are seeking proposals for 50-minute workshops at the 2025 Civic Engagement Conference. The conference will be held at the Washburn University Union in Topeka, KS, on November 4th and 5th, 2025. The theme for the conference is “Empowering Kansans Through Civic Engagement.”

Workshop sessions will be held in the morning and afternoon of November 4th and 5th. Presenters may elect for up to two 50-minute sessions for a two-part series if there is a demonstrated need. All types of sessions will be considered, including presentations, panels, roundtables, or a combination of the above.

The Commission is particularly interested in receiving speaker proposals from high school and college students.
